You will love the front open pocket for quick cell phone access. It has a top zipped pocket for the main compartment and an additional zipped pocket on back! Wipeable interior water-resistant gray liner. It’s a great little bag for buzzing about.

I bought a couple of your bags over the years. I don’t think the finishing was good as it used to be. Example: there were zippers for side pockets and the fabric seemed to be a little heavier in the previous ones. Finishing really maters.

The Busy Bee you purchased never had two zipped side pockets, perhaps you're refering to the L'il Buddy, which had two zipped pockets and was replaced by the Busy Bee. You are correct that our fabric thickness vary that is due to different yarn being used for each fabric.

Where’s narrower cersion
Bought this years ago and was surprised to find its wider now. Still live it but as a teacher I miss the more narrow one. This is great for travel, true. Glad to have a new one again.

I love this bag! I have had the Cupcake bag for years and use it daily. It’s the perfect sized bag for running errands and taking essentials to the gym. The quality and longevity of my Cupcke bag got me to order the Busy Bee bag. Sometimes, the Cupcake is just a little too small to hold what I need. My Busy Bee bag is beautiful, the fabric is strong and durable, and I love the zippers. The are easy to slide and I know will hold up for a very long time. The craftsmnship is stellar. This size is still a small bag (which I love) but but big enough to carry what I need for any occasion. I have gotten so many compliments on my Cupcake bag over the years, I’m sure I will get them for the Busy Bee bag as well (I’ve only been using it for a few weeks so far).

This small bag is exactly what I was hoping it would be. Beautiful classy black fabric, structurally sound and perfectly sized for the function I’m attending. Phone, glasses, lipstick, keys. My 3rd Maruca. They wear like iron.

way too small
I bought this to use on day trips when I didn't want to use a full-sized purse but it is way to small for holding "just the basics"
